Budget Security
Oracle Projects provides three levels of budget security:
- Function Security and Budget Line Source Security
- Budget Line Source Security uses function security to control whether a user can update amounts in budget lines, based on the source of the amount.
The source of the amount can be an external system, a budget client extension, actual amounts (when the budget is created by copying actual amounts), or another budget version (when the budget is created by copying a budget version). See Budget Line Source Security.
